Purpose--use of additional material.

376.700. 1. The purpose of sections 376.700 to 376.714 isto require insurers to deliver to purchasers of life insurance,information which will improve the buyer's ability to select themost appropriate plan of life insurance for his needs, improvethe buyer's understanding of the basic features of the policywhich has been purchased or which is under consideration, andimprove the ability of the buyer to evaluate the relative costsof similar plans of life insurance.

2. Sections 376.700 to 376.714 do not prohibit the use ofadditional material which is not in violation of sections 376.700to 376.714 or any other state law or regulation.
