Stay of proceedings, insolvent insurer, when.

376.754. All proceedings in which the insolvent insurer isa party in any court in this state shall be stayed sixty daysfrom the date an order of liquidation, rehabilitation, orconservation is final to permit proper legal action by theassociation on any matters germane to its powers or duties. Asto judgment under any decision, order, verdict, or finding basedon default the association may apply to have such judgment setaside by the same court that made such judgment and shall bepermitted to defend against such suit on the merits.
