Division of medical services to have right to payment for health careservices provided.

376.819. To the extent that payment has been made by the division ofmedical services for health care items or services furnished to aMedicaid-eligible individual, the division of medical services is consideredto have acquired the rights of the Medicaid-eligible individual to payment byany insurer or other party obligated to cover such health care items orservices.
