Director to give certificate--to be filed--evidence.

379.055. When the corporators have fully complied with the requirementsof section 379.050, and have transferred to and deposited with the director ofthe department of insurance, financial institutions and professionalregistration the securities as required by sections 379.080 and 379.098, thedirector shall furnish them a certificate of deposit and his certificate ofauthority for them to commence the business proposed in the charter, and acertified copy of the aforesaid declaration and certificates, which, on beingfiled and recorded in the office of the recorder of the county in which thecompany is located, shall be its authority to commence business and issuepolicies; and the certified copy of the declaration and certificates may beused in evidence for or against the company with the same effect as theoriginals.
