Disclaimer of affiliation, effect of.

382.170. Any person may file with the director a disclaimerof affiliation with any authorized insurer or the disclaimer maybe filed by the insurer or any member of an insurance holdingcompany system. The disclaimer shall fully disclose all materialrelationships and bases for affiliation between such person andsuch insurer as well as the basis for disclaiming suchaffiliation. After a disclaimer has been filed, the insurershall be relieved of any duty to register or report under section382.110 which may arise out of the insurer's relationship withsuch person unless and until the director disallows thedisclaimer. The director shall disallow the disclaimer onlyafter furnishing all parties in interest with notice andopportunity to be heard and after making specific findings offact to support the disallowance.
