Application of chapter.

387.010. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to thetransportation of passengers or household goods from one point to anotherwithin this state, and to any motor carrier, as defined in section 390.020,RSMo, performing such service. The provisions of this chapter shall notapply to railroad corporations or street railroad corporations, except tothe extent they engage in business as motor carriers of passengers orhousehold goods.
