Rates to be charged as fixed--unjust discrimination prohibited.

387.100. 1. No motor carrier shall charge, demand, collect orreceive a greater or less or different compensation for transportation ofpassengers or household goods, or for any service in connection therewith,than the rates, fares and charges applicable to such transportation asspecified in its schedules filed and in effect at the time.

2. No motor carrier shall, directly or indirectly, by any specialrate, rebate, drawback or other device or method, charge, demand, collector receive from any person or corporation a greater or less or differentcompensation for any service rendered or to be rendered in thetransportation of passengers or household goods, except as authorized inthis chapter, than it charges, demands, collects or receives from any otherperson or corporation for doing a like and contemporaneous service in thetransportation of a like kind of traffic under the same or substantiallysimilar circumstances and conditions.
