Maps of extensions and branch routes to be filed, where--notice tolandowners.

388.360. Every railroad company, as aforesaid, beforeproceeding to construct any such extension of its railroad orbranch railroad into or through any county mentioned in saidresolution of its board of directors, shall make a map or maps ofthe route intended to be or already adopted for such extension orbranch railroad by such company in such county or counties, whichmap or maps shall show all details as required by section388.330, and shall be certified by the president or vicepresident and engineer of said company, or by a majority of thedirectors, and filed in the office of the clerk of the countycommission of each county into or through which the extension ofsaid railroad or said branch railroad is intended to beconstructed. The company shall give written notice to all actualoccupants of the land over which the route of said extension orbranch railroad is so designated, and which has not beenpurchased by or given to said company.
