Construction of laws relating to nonprofit sewer companies.

393.857. Sections 393.825 to 393.861 and section 393.175 shall beconstrued liberally. The enumeration of any object, purpose, power, manner,method or thing shall not be deemed to exclude like or similar objects,purposes, powers, manners, methods or things. To the extent that sections393.825 to 393.861 and section 393.175 do* not speak to an issue, theprovisions applicable to mutual benefit not-for-profit corporations or limitedliability companies, as the nonprofit sewer company may elect in its articlesof incorporation, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of sections393.825 to 393.861 and section 393.175 shall apply to nonprofit sewercompanies.
