408.400. Definitions.
408.400. 1. As used in sections 408.400 to 408.415, unlessthe context otherwise requires:
(1) "Arranged" means to provide or offer to provide a loanwhich is or will be extended by another person under a businessor other relationship pursuant to which the person arranging suchloan receives or will receive a fee, compensation, or otherconsideration for such service or has knowledge of the terms ofthe loan and participates in the preparation of the instrumentsrequired in connection with the extension of the loan;
(2) "Consumer goods or services" means goods or services foruse primarily for personal, family or household purposes.
2. The definitions in Articles 1, 3 and 9 of chapter 400,RSMo, are applicable to sections 408.400 to 408.415.
