Investment firms, legal firms, other persons shall not be involvedwith issuance of bonds, when.

409.107. No investment firm, legal firm offering bond counselservices, or any persons having an interest in any such firms shall beinvolved in the issuance of bonds authorized by an election in which thefirm or person made any direct or indirect financial contribution to anycampaign in support of the bond election. For the purposes of thissection, direct or indirect financial contribution shall not includeservices with respect to providing factual information relating to theprospective bond issuance, responding to questions and making presentationsat public forums relative to prospective bond issuance, or participation inany meeting subject to the open meetings law.
