409.526. Penalties.
409.526. 1. Every person who willfully violates anyprovision of sections 409.500 to 409.566 shall be guilty of aclass A misdemeanor.
2. Every person who violates any provision of sections409.500 to 409.566 shall be subject to a civil penalty of onethousand dollars per violation if a natural person or tenthousand dollars per violation if a corporation. When theviolation is the failure to file a registration statement asrequired by subsection 1 of section 409.511 the failure to file asolicitation or recommendation as required by subsection 3 ofsection 409.511 or the failure to amend such registrationstatement as required by subsection 2 of section 409.516 eachbusiness day of nonregistration or failure to file arecommendation or solicitation or failure to amend constitutes aseparate violation. The penalty imposed by this section shall becumulative and more than one penalty shall be recoverable in thesame action in any court of competent jurisdiction.
