Penalty for violation of law--operating without a license, effect ofpayment of penalty fee.

411.661. Unless otherwise provided in this chapter, anyperson, firm or corporation, or any officer or agent of anyperson, firm or corporation, who violates any of the provisionsof this chapter is, upon conviction, guilty of a class Bmisdemeanor. However, if a warehouseman has been charged, andhas paid, a penalty fee for operating without a license as setforth in section 411.255, the warehouseman may not be chargedwith a misdemeanor for operating without a license for the timeperiod covered by the penalty fee.
