Publication or posting terms of service sufficient notice of lien onoffspring.

430.180. When the terms of the service by the animal,published or posted as provided in section 430.170, provides thatthe foal or other product of the service will be held for themoney due for the service of the stallion, jack or bull, then andin that event the owner or keeper of the animal shall have a lienfor the sum on the offspring of any female animal served, for theperiod of one year after the birth thereof. The lien shall bepreferred to any prior lien, encumbrance or security agreementwhatever; and the publication or posting as aforesaid of theterms of the service shall be deemed notice to any third party ofthe existence of the lien.
