Insurance benefits payable directly to minor, when--validity ofreceipt--disaffirmance prohibited.

431.066. 1. When any minor eighteen years or older, beingmarried, and the beneficiary of a policy of insurance on the lifeof his spouse becomes entitled to any benefits under the policyof insurance due to the death of his spouse, the insuror may paythe proceeds of the policy, not to exceed ten thousand dollars,to the minor beneficiary without the necessity of conservatorshipor any other proceedings in any court.

2. The signed acknowledgment of the minor beneficiary shallconstitute a legal receipt.

3. The acknowledgment of the minor beneficiary shall not besubject to disaffirmance upon the minor attaining twenty-oneyears of age.
