Claims against county for work and labor.

431.100. If a claim against a county be for work and labordone, or material furnished in good faith by the claimant, undercontract with the county authorities, or with any agent of thecounty lawfully authorized, the claimant, if he shall havefulfilled his contract, shall be entitled to recover the justvalue of such work, labor and material, though such authoritiesor agent may not, in making such contract, have pursued the formof proceedings prescribed by law.
