Powers of attorney, how acknowledged and proved.

442.360. Every letter of attorney or other instrumentcontaining a power to convey real estate, as agent or attorneyfor the owner thereof, or to execute, as agent or attorney foranother, any instrument in writing conveying real estate, orwhereby real estate may be affected in law or equity, shall beacknowledged or proved, and certified and recorded, as otherinstruments in writing conveying or affecting real estate arerequired to be acknowledged or proved and certified and recorded.
