Loan processors and underwriters, license required.

443.707. A loan processor or underwriter who is an independentcontractor shall not engage in the activities of a loan processor orunderwriter for a Missouri residential real estate loan unless suchindependent contractor loan processor or underwriter obtains and maintainsa license under section 443.706. Each independent contractor loanprocessor or underwriter licensed as a mortgage loan originator shall haveand maintain a valid unique identifier issued by the NMLSR. Eachindependent contractor loan processor or underwriter shall certify annuallyunder oath to the director that they shall not engage in the activities ofa mortgage loan originator absent full compliance with section 443.706.
