License required to broker residential mortgage, exceptions.

443.805. 1. No person shall engage in the business of brokering,funding, servicing or purchasing of residential mortgage loans withoutfirst obtaining a license as a residential mortgage loan broker from thedirector, pursuant to sections 443.701 to 443.893 and the regulationspromulgated thereunder. The licensing provisions of sections 443.805 to443.812 shall not apply to any person engaged solely in commercial mortgagelending or to any person exempt as provided in section 443.703 or pursuantto regulations promulgated as provided in sections 443.701 to 443.893.

2. No person except a licensee or exempt person shall do any businessunder any name or title or circulate or use any advertising or make anyrepresentation or give any information to any person which indicates orreasonably implies activity within the scope of the provisions of sections443.701 to 443.893.
