Mining under public highways and railroads prohibited.

444.320. No person or persons, firm or association ofpersons, company or corporation shall, within this state, mine orexcavate beneath the surface of any public highway or railroadright-of-way, in such manner as to cause the surface of theground over which such public highway or railroad track isconstructed to cave in.
