Annual permit, how amended.

444.580. 1. An operator desiring to have his permit amendedto cover additional land may file an amended application with thecommission. Upon receipt of the amended application, and suchadditional fee and bond as may be required under the provisionsof sections 444.500 to 444.755, the commission shall issue anamendment to the original permit covering the additional landdescribed in the amended application, if the operator meets therequirements of this law and the rules and regulations of thecommission.

2. An operator may withdraw any land covered by a permit,except affected land, by notifying the commission thereof, inwhich case the penalty of the bond or security filed by theoperator pursuant to the provisions of sections 444.500 to444.755 shall be reduced proportionately.
