Creation of condominium.

448.2-101. 1. A condominium shall be created pursuant tosections 448.1-101 to 448.4-120 only by recording a declarationexecuted in the same manner as a deed. The declaration shall berecorded in every county in which any portion of the condominiumis located, and shall be indexed in the name of the condominiumand each person executing the declaration.

2. No declaration or amendment to a declaration adding unitsto a condominium shall be recorded unless all structuralcomponents and mechanical systems of all buildings containing orcomprising any units thereby created are substantially completedin accordance with the plans, as evidenced by a recordedcertificate of completion executed by a registered and licensedengineer or architect.
