State may be party to proceedings--service.

472.025. Proceedings may be conducted under section 473.083,RSMo, or any other section of chapters 472 and 473, RSMo, whenthe state of Missouri or any department or agency thereof is anecessary or proper party defendant or interested therein,directly or indirectly, as devisee, claimant by way of escheat,claimant as creditor, or otherwise. Service of process andnotices upon the state of Missouri or any department or agencythereof may be made by delivery to the prosecuting attorney ofthe county.
