Small estate appraised, when.

473.107. The probate division of the circuit court in itsdiscretion may order the appraisal of the property before acertificate is made under section 473.097 or before an orderrefusing letters is made under section 473.090. The appraisalshall be made by one or more appraisers appointed by the courtand the cost thereof shall be paid by the persons entitled to theproperty in accordance with the order of the court.
