476.480. 1. Sections 476.450 to 476.510 shall not apply to anyperson who has been convicted of a felony in any court or who has beenimpeached or removed from office for misconduct for acts involving moralturpitude.

2. The board of trustees of the Missouri state employees' retirementsystem shall cease paying benefits to any beneficiary of a judge who ischarged with the intentional killing of the judge without legal excuse orjustification. A beneficiary who is convicted of such charge shall nolonger be entitled to receive benefits. If the beneficiary is notconvicted of such charge, the board shall resume payment of benefits andshall pay the beneficiary any benefits that were suspended pendingresolution of such charge.
