Appeals from municipal judges, where heard.

478.469. 1. Cases reviewing decisions of officials oradministrative bodies of Kansas City shall be heard at KansasCity, and cases reviewing decisions of officials oradministrative bodies of Independence shall be heard atIndependence.

2. Trials de novo from decisions of municipal judges ofKansas City may at the option of the appellant be heard in thecircuit court of the county where the offense complained of wascommitted or in the circuit court of the sixteenth judicialcircuit.

3. Trials de novo from decisions of municipal judges servingother municipalities within Jackson County and cases reviewingdecisions of officials or administrative bodies of othermunicipalities or of other governmental bodies may be heard ateither Kansas City or Independence.

4. The name of the court appealed to shall be set out inorder granting the appeal.
