Circuit No. 13, number of judges, divisions--when judgeselected--additional associate circuit judge for Boone County, when.

478.610. 1. There shall be three circuit judges in the thirteenthjudicial circuit consisting of the counties of Boone and Callaway. Thesejudges shall sit in divisions numbered one, two and three. Beginning onJanuary 1, 2007, there shall be four circuit judges in the thirteenthjudicial circuit and these judges shall sit in divisions numbered one, two,three, and four.

2. The circuit judge in division two shall be elected in 1980. Thecircuit judges in divisions one and three shall be elected in 1982. Thecircuit judge in division four shall be elected in 2006 for a two-year termand thereafter in 2008 for a full six-year term.

3. The authority for a majority of judges of the thirteenth judicialcircuit to appoint or retain a commissioner pursuant to section 478.003shall expire August 28, 2001. As of such date, there shall be oneadditional associate circuit judge position in Boone County than isprovided pursuant to section 478.320.
