479.080. 1. In the prosecution of violations of municipalordinances before a municipal judge, all fines and costs shall bepaid to and deposited not less frequently than monthly into themunicipal treasury.

2. In the prosecution of violations of municipal ordinancesbefore an associate circuit judge, all fines shall be paid to anddeposited not less frequently than monthly into the municipaltreasury and all court costs shall be accounted for and remittedto the state treasury in the same manner as provided by law forcosts in misdemeanor cases.

3. The supreme court by administrative rule may provide foruniform procedure, and reporting forms for the collection andtransmittal of fines and costs. Until modified or otherwiseprovided by such administrative rule, the municipal judge, orassociate circuit judge hearing and determining violations ofmunicipal ordinances, shall cause the clerk serving his division,within the first ten days of every month, to make out a list ofall the cases heard or tried before the judge during thepreceding month, giving in each case the name of the defendant,the fine imposed, if any, the amount of costs, the names ofdefendants committed and the cases in which there was anapplication for trial de novo, respectively. Such clerk or thejudge shall verify such lists and statements by affidavit, andfile the same forthwith with the clerk of the municipality, whoshall lay the same before the governing body or the municipalityat its first session thereafter. The official collecting finesshall, within the ten days aforesaid, pay to the municipaltreasurer the full amount of all fines collected by him duringthe preceding month if not previously paid to the municipaltreasurer.
