Disqualification of judge, when, procedure.

479.220. A municipal judge shall be disqualified to hear anycase in which he is in any wise interested, or, if before thetrial is commenced, the defendant or the prosecutor files anaffidavit that the defendant or the municipality, as the case maybe, cannot have a fair and impartial trial by reason of theinterest or prejudice of the judge. Neither the defendant northe municipality shall be entitled to file more than oneaffidavit or disqualification in the same case.
