Court costs--procedure for assessment of costs, award of fees anddisbursement of fees.

482.345. 1. A person filing an action in small claims court shallpay court costs and a deposit as security for costs in amounts determinedpursuant to sections 488.010 to 488.020*, RSMo.

2. A person filing an action in small claims court shall pay the costof service and other process in advance.

3. The court may in its discretion award the fees and assess thecosts provided in this section.

4. All court costs shall be disbursed in accordance with sections488.010 to 488.020*, RSMo.
