Fees of the clerks of the supreme court and court ofappeals--collection.

483.500. 1. An appellant or plaintiff in error shall pay court costsin an amount determined pursuant to sections 488.010 to 488.020, RSMo;provided, that nothing herein shall be construed to apply to proceedingswhen costs are waived or are to be paid by the state, county ormunicipality.

2. The clerk of the court in which the notice of appeal is initiallyfiled shall collect and disburse court costs determined pursuant to thissection in the manner provided by sections 488.010 to 488.020, RSMo, andsuch court costs shall be payable to the director of revenue for deposit tothe general revenue fund.
