Term of notary not to be diminished, exception.

486.405. Nothing in sections 486.200 to 486.405 shall beconstrued in any way as interfering with or discontinuing theterm of office of any person now serving as a notary public untilthe term for which he was commissioned has expired, or until hehas been removed pursuant to the provisions of sections 486.200to 486.405.
