Immediate need to hear case within jurisdiction, assignment of judge,conditions.

487.130. In the event that there is an immediate need tohear a case falling within the exclusive original jurisdiction ofthe family court and no family court judge or commissioner isavailable to hear the matter, then the presiding judge may assignany judge of the proper venue in each circuit to hear suchmatter, subject to split venue and other provisions of law.
