Provisions of sections 491.675 to 491.693 not to apply where defendanthas waived right to counsel--exceptions.

491.690. Where a defendant has waived the right to counseland elected to represent himself, the provisions of sections491.675 to 491.693 shall not apply, except in the discretion ofthe court, under such rules, procedures and restrictions as thecourt may, in the interests of justice, impose.
