Parties may affirm, when.

492.030. Every person who shall declare that he hasconscientious scruples against taking an oath or swearing in anyform shall be permitted to make his solemn declaration oraffirmation in the following form: "You do solemnly declare andaffirm", etc., concluding with the words "under the pains andpenalties of perjury".
