492.210. When it is desired to take depositions to be readin suits pending in any of the courts of this state, the court inwhich any suit is pending, or the judge thereof in vacation, mayshorten the time for which notice is to be given, as nowrequired, upon application of the party desiring it, with duenotice of such application to the opposite party or his attorney;and notice of taking depositions, given for such time as isdesignated by the court or judge, shall in all cases besufficient.
