Selection of jurors from qualified jury list.

494.420. 1. Those persons constituting the qualified jurylist, when summoned, shall be placed under the control andsupervision of the sheriff or other person designated by theboard of jury commissioners in a designated area to be providedin the courthouse.

2. Whenever a judge of the circuit court shall require apanel of jurors for jury service, he shall designate the numberof jurors required. This number of jurors shall be randomlyselected in a manner specified by the board of jury commissionersfrom the qualified jury list.
