Transfer of case based on addition or removal of a plaintiff ordefendant prior to commencement of trial.

508.012. At any time prior to the commencement of a trial, if aplaintiff or defendant, including a third-party plaintiff or defendant, iseither added or removed from a petition filed in any court in the state ofMissouri which would have, if originally added or removed to the initialpetition, altered the determination of venue under section 508.010, thenthe judge shall upon application of any party transfer the case to a properforum under section 476.410, RSMo.
