509.390. 1. Unless local conditions make it impracticable,each trial court shall establish regular times and places, atintervals sufficiently frequent for the prompt dispatch ofbusiness, at which motions requiring notice and hearing may beheard and disposed of; but the court at any time or place and onsuch notice, if any, as he considers reasonable may make ordersfor the advancement, conduct, and hearing of actions.
2. To expedite its business, the court may make provision byrule or order for the submission and determination of motionswithout oral hearing upon brief written statements of reasons insupport and opposition.
