513.320. When any sheriff shall die, it shall be the duty ofhis executors or administrators to deliver over to the personsappointed or elected and qualified to succeed the deceased, allexecutions unexecuted; and for failure to do so, said executorsor administrators, and the sureties of the testator or intestate,shall be responsible.
