If cause of action be denied under oath, plaintiff must prove.

521.610. If the petition deny the cause of action on whichthe judgment was rendered, and be verified by the oath of thepetitioner, the plaintiff shall be required to prove the same,and in default thereof, it shall be adjudged that the debt anddamages, or damages, are disproved and avoided.
