Definitions.

523.200. As used in sections 523.200 to 523.215, the following wordsmean:

(1) "Displaced person", any person that moves from the real propertyor moves his personal property from the real property permanently andvoluntarily as a direct result of the acquisition, rehabilitation ordemolition of or the written notice of intent to acquire such realproperty, in whole or in part, for a public purpose;

(2) "Public agency", the state of Missouri or any politicalsubdivision or any branch, bureau or department thereof, any public schooldistrict, and any quasi-public corporation created or existing by law whichare authorized to acquire real property for public purpose and whichacquire any such property either partly or wholly with aid or reimbursementfrom federal funds;

(3) "Urban redevelopment corporation", as defined in section 353.020,RSMo.
