Sheriff and sureties responsible on his bond, when.

528.430. The sheriff and his sureties shall be responsibleon his official bond for his acts in all cases under thischapter, and for the notes, bonds or money collected or receivedby him, and he may be compelled to account for and pay over thesame, in the same manner as in cases of money collected onexecution.
