Officer discharging prisoner, not liable.

532.540. No sheriff or other person shall be liable to anycivil action for obeying any order of discharge, made accordingto the provisions of this chapter; and if any action shall bebrought against him for suffering any person committed to hiscustody to go at large, pursuant to any such order, he may pleadthe same in his answer thereto, in bar of such action.
