Director to examine--renewal license fee--amendments to articles.

537.640. 1. The director of the department of insurance, financialinstitutions and professional registration shall be authorized in accordancewith section 374.205, RSMo, to examine into the affairs of any associationorganized under the provisions of sections 537.620 to 537.650 and may, inaccordance with section 374.045, RSMo, make such rules and regulations as maybe necessary for the execution of the functions vested in him. Annuallythereafter, within thirty days before the expiration of its license, eachassociation shall pay a renewal license fee of one hundred dollars and shallfile a statement with the director of the department of insurance, financialinstitutions and professional registration giving a report of its activitiesfor the preceding year.

2. Any existing association shall also, at the time it files for renewalof its license, file any amendments to its articles of association or bylawswhich have been adopted in the preceding year.
