540.105. An official reporter of the circuit court, whendirected by the judge thereof, shall take down and transcribe forthe use of the prosecuting or circuit attorney any or allevidence given before the grand jury. Before taking down anysuch evidence, however, such reporter shall be sworn by theforeperson of such grand jury not to divulge any of theproceedings or testimony before the grand jury or the names ofany witnesses except to the prosecuting or circuit attorney or toany attorney lawfully assisting him in the prosecution of anindictment brought by such grand jury.
