Tender of fees not necessary.

545.350. It shall not be necessary to pay or tender any feeswhatever to any witness summoned on the part of the state or onthe part of the defendant, but such witness shall be bound toattend and be liable for his nonattendance in the same manner asif the fees allowed to witness had been duly paid to him.
