Nonwaiver by this state.

548.270. Nothing in this chapter contained shall be deemedto constitute a waiver by this state of its right, power orprivilege to try such demanded person for crime committed withinthis state, or of its right, power or privilege to regain custodyof such person by extradition proceedings or otherwise for thepurpose of trial, sentence or punishment for any crime committedwithin this state, nor shall any proceedings had under thischapter which result in, or fail to result in, extradition bedeemed a waiver by this state of any of its rights, privileges orjurisdiction in any way whatsoever.
