Bids to be made by private entities--minimum duration forcontracts--termination for cause prior to expiration permitted.

559.612. Judges shall solicit applications and proposals inaccordance with provisions of chapter 34, RSMo, on bids andrequests for proposals. The minimum length of any probationservices contract entered into by either associate circuit ormunicipal judges shall be three years. However, the judges shallhave the right to terminate the contract for cause prior to itsexpiration date.
