Exemptions from law.

570.245. Sections 570.225 to 570.255 do not apply to:

(1) Any radio or television broadcaster who transfers anysuch sounds as part of or in connection with a radio ortelevision broadcast transmission or for archival preservation;

(2) Any person transferring any such sounds at home for hispersonal use without any compensation being derived by suchperson or any other person from such transfer;

(3) Any cable television company that transfers any suchsounds as part of its regular cable television service.
